Gramocef-CV Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Cefixime and Clavulanic acid as its active ingredients. It is used to treat a variety of conditions such as urinary tract infections, ear infections, and lung infections caused by bacteria. It works by killing or stopping the growth and multiplication of bacteria. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.

Gramocef Cv 200 mg tablet is used for the treatment of severe:

— bacterial infections of the urinary tract–

— lungs, throat and tonsil, skin Infections or–

— infections like typhoid fever or gonorrhoea–

Other Essential Uses (Important points to note)

Gramocef-CV Tablet can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, etc. Seek medical attention if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 10 years of age. Gramocef-CV Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine same time every day. Be sure to complete the course as directed by your doctor in order to avoid bacterial resistance to this medicine. It may decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills and the cholera vaccine. Hence, inform your doctor about your ongoing medicines. Gramocef-CV Tablet may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or blood clotting/bleeding issues before taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding mother before starting therapy with Gramocef-CV Tablet as it may not be safe for use.

Note:

Avoid taking Gramocef-CV Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Who can’t take this

–Gramocef-CV Tablet is not recommended to use in pregnancy as this medicine may affect the developing joints of your foetus–

–Gramocef-CV Tablet is not also recommended to use in breastfeeding as it may harm your infant–
